Activities

Peer to peer learning or knowledge exchange is conducted through a number of interactive 'models' or 'activities'. These activities are cities centric and City, State and Central Government officials associated with urban development and allied departments are the key stakeholders. Knowledge and expertise of researchers, practitioners and policy makers from around the globe are plugged into the design process of these activities.

1. Workshops - need based peer to peer learning through experience sharing and best practice exchange. Workshops are conducted at the national, international and group levels. 

2. Exposure Visits - need based knowledge exchange among cities through facilitated field visits to better performing cities

3. Expert visits - facilitate the process of technical support assistance to the recipient city in the area of expertise of well-performing cities.

4. Dialogue Series - facilitate knowledge exchange and enhance networks amongst urban practitioners, researchers, students and civil society facilitated by initiating relevant discussions in the urban realm.

5. Internship -  provide an opportunity for interns to gain exposure to local governments and their work in urban development. It will also promote evidence-based research on ULBs in India and would allow talented and motivated researchers to contribute to the urban sector through their research outcomes.

6. E-Learning -  provide an opportunity for interns to gain exposure to local governments and their work in urban development.
