Capacity building being one of the major pillars for the successful implementation of IHCDP and forthe same, two workshops were arranged to disburse information and knowledge related to this. Thefirst workshop was organized in October, 2012 in Ahmedabad and the second workshop was held in Mysore. Both the workshops are held at different stages of the programme.The second workshop at Mysore was aimed at sharing knowledge and experiences from case studies on Heritage Management from Karnataka and specifically the case of Mysore. Sharing of experiences between the IHCDP pilot cities - namely Hyderabad, Ajmer-Pushkar and Varanasi and discussions on issues and challenges faced in old city revitalization and inclusive and community based heritage management were the focus of the workshop.
