Water Supply and Sanitation in Indian Cities

This Compendium on ‘Good practices in Water supply and Sanitation’ is an effort to delve deeper into a few of these initiatives, to draw insights on underlying factors driving this progress and to distil lessons/insights for their wider replication. Efforts have also been made to bring in diversity; both in terms of the geographical contexts and to reflect initiatives along different facets of the water and sanitation value chain viz., water supply, sanitation, waste-water management, citizen participation and sustainable financing.
